Starting on Monday, February 6, 2012 Statesville Middle School will be participating in a school-wide pizza and cheerwine fundraiser sale. More information will be coming home with students about this exciting activity soon! Also, on February 24 from 6-9 PM Statesville Middle will be hosting a Fun Night Out at the Funstation 2000. $10.00 will get unlimited everything (food is sold separately). Information on this event will also be going home with the students very soon. We are looking forward to these exciting events. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the school.
Statesville Middle, along with several other schools in the district are participating in a community service project called Jeans for Teens. This project will allow us to help out homeless teenagers who may be in need of jeans. Until February 10 we will be collecting new or gently used blue jeans to donate to this project. Please drop off any jeans that you would like to donate.
The Statesville Middle School PTO has been working hard all year to help the school improve in many areas. We are always looking for new members to join! If you are interested in joining the SMS PTO or finding out more about the activities and fundraisers that we are involved in, please stop by our next meeting on February 2, 2012 in the Statesville Middle School Media Center at 6:00 PM. Local McDonalds and Chick Fil A restaurants donated gift cards for SMS to use as incentives in our PBIS program. We really appreciate these two establishments working with our school and for our students!
