    • Congratulations to all of our athletes who participated in the Special Olympics on Wednesday May 9. A special thank you also goes out to Mrs. Stroud for helping our Junior Beta Club to be good leaders and role models by lending a helping hand to their classmates at the Special Olympics. SMS really has super students!

    NJAHS and Beta Club Members Inducted!

    On Wednesday March 7 several students from the 7th and 8th grades will be inducted into the National Junior Beta Club. Please join us in celebrating this academic achievement in the SMS Gym at 10:00. On Thursday March 8 the members of the National Junior Art Honors Society will be inducted. Please join us in congratulating these students on their artistic achievements at 6:00 PM in the SMS Media Center.

    The Statesville Middle School PTO has been working hard all year to help the school improve in many areas. We are always looking for new members to join!     Local McDonalds and Chick Fil A restaurants donated gift cards for SMS to use as incentives in our PBIS program. We really appreciate these two establishments working with our school and for our students!
