  • Summer Volleyball Camp

    Summer Volleyball Camp will be held July 25 - 27 for rising 3rd - 6th graders and rising 7th - 9th graders. For all campers, our camp will offer skill development in an atmosphere that is fun and physically active. Our staff will strive to make it a positive experience for all involved. We will instruct the basic fundamentals with the hope that your child will take what she has learned and move with greater confidence into her school or other volleyball programs. We also hope to spark an interest in a sport that can be played throughout a lifetime. Older or more experienced campers will have a chance to get a head start on learning new drill, rotations that will be beneficially heading into middle school and high school seasons.   • Lady Greyhound Team Camp

    The Lady Greyhound Team Camp will be held on June 21st. Teams already committed to play are Bishop McGuinness, Kannapolis, East Lincoln, Parkland, Surry Central, West Caldwell, Randleman, Forbush, St. Stephens, West Iredell and South Iredell. The cost is $5 but if you bring 2 can goods the cost will be $3.

  • North Carolina 10-point grading scale

    In October 2014, the State Board agreed and approved a standard 10-point grading scale to begin with the 2015-16 school year. This scale will not include “pluses” or “minuses” and it will be applied for coursework beginning with the 2015-16 school year for students in grades 9, 10, 11 and 12.
