  • Rising 9th Grade Registration

    Statesville High School will have their Rising 9th Grade Registration this Wednesday, March 29th, from 4:30-7 in our Media Center. Parents & students can come and fill out the enrollment packets, bring copies of their Birth certificates and proof of residence. If they have any questions about what their students registered for counselors will be on hand to answer questions. North Iredell High School will be hosting 2 Parent Registration nights. These will be this Tues and Wed, March 28th and 29th from 3:30 until 7. These nights are an opportunity for parents to come and meet with a counselor to discuss scheduling for their student. You can review course selections and make any necessary changes.

  • Weekly Update

    March 5 Weekly Update: Dr. Houpe's Phone message. Starting out with Good Things.Let's start out with some good things: Congratulations to the 7th grade for their hard on iReady- Almost everyone participated in a reward Friday for getting in their 45 minutes.  All students should be working toward 45 minutes per week in reading and math, with a pass rate of 75%! Congratulations also goes out to our Battle of the Books Team.  They represented us well last week! Way to go, Mrs. Rhodes and her team. Here are your announcements for the week: Monday marks the beginning of our Universal Expectation reward period. On Friday, March 17th, all students will be able to attend a FREE St Patty's dance IF they qualify. How does a child qualify?   They can have NO office referrals that result in in-school suspension of 1/2 day or greater including bus write-ups from Monday, March 5th until Thursday, March 16th.   • District makes decision on Snow Make-up Days

    Due to the days missed because of the recent inclement weather, Iredell-Statesville Schools has announced two of the three scheduled days will be used to make up the missed time. The Board of Education voted on Monday, January 9th to remove Monday, January 23rd as a snow make-up day. January 23rd will remain a regular teacher workday. This change was done to support our high schools that will be converting from the fall semester to the spring semester. The snow make-up days for Monday, January 9th and Tuesday, January 10th will be February 27th and March 31st as outlined on the 2016-2017 District Calendar. Click here for more info...
