Welcome to 6th grade Language Arts!  I hope this year will be filled with success for your child.  I am looking forward to getting to know all of you! 
    I believe that all children can learn and grow.  Learning and growing is a partnership.  I will give my best effort to present your child with the North Carolina Language Arts curriculum, but effort will be required on your child's part as well.  As challenging as this may seem, it really is much easier if we all (teacher, parent, & child) work together.  If a problem exists, please make sure that I am made aware of your concern.  I will do everything in my power to make sure it is taken care of promptly!  :-)
