Woodland Heights Elementary is constantly looking at ways to expand our ability of getting technology into the hands of our students.  We often come across opportunities that present our school with different product lines of hardware and we can't take advantage of them due to our school districts stance.  As a rule, I do not support one dimensional initiatives such as our districts standardization of technology.  I have learned there are distinct advantages of standardization of equipment, software and services.  Some of those advantages to our district are:  Increased bulk purchase discounts, streamlines technical support and decreases inventory costs. Partnered with our PTO, we will continue to give our students the  21st century tools to access their world and find success.
