About Mrs. Onyskin

I first started teaching technology at Shepherd in the fall of 2003, though at that time I also taught at Cool Spring.  I was away for about a year and a half due to a transfer in my husband, Tim's, job (Jan. 2006- summer 2007).  During that time I taught 4th grade in Alabama, and I finished my Masters degree in Instructional Technology through ASU.  I am very glad to be back at Shepherd and back in the computer lab!  My daughter was born on her Daddy's birthday in February of 2008 and my son was born the day after their birthday in 2011.  My birthday is the next week, so February is a busy month in the Onyskin house.  Also at home we have two dogs (Shadowfawkes, a Siberian Husky, and Boxxer, a Shih Tzu).  Another important thing to know about me is that I am a big Green Bay Packer fan... a cheesehead through and through.  I was born in Wisconsin, and even though I moved away in early elementary school, I am still a huge supporter of the Super Bowl Champion Pack.
