Parents: Car Rider Information

AM DROP-OFF:

This year, the doors for our car riders will open at 7:05 AM instead of 7:00 AM.  In order to get students into the building quickly, please encourage your child to get out of the vehicle once your car pulls up along the sidewalk.  We will have adult supervision, but our staff cannot open every car door.  Remember, students are counted tardy after 7:30 AM.  We understand the first few days will be slow and tardies will not be issued, but the expectation is to get all students into their classrooms by 7:30 AM.

 

PM PICK-UP

TES begin a new process with car rider pick-up in the afternoon.  Please take direction from the adults that are out there at supervise our students.  We will have a double car rider line, one for K-2 and one for 3-5.  Parents who have students in both of those grade spans should get into the K-2 car rider line.  Dismissal for 3-5 is 2:15 and K-2 is 2:18.  This is a new process that we are trying due to the large number of car riders, so please be patient, expect some delays, and know that if adjustments need to be made we will, but only after we have had the opportunity to try it for several weeks.
