Statesville High School Clinches Second Place in Video Contest

The hard work of several students at Statesville High School paid off as they recently were named second place winners in the Bus Stop Safety "Making Tracks" video contest.  As the second place winners students and teacher sponsor, Cheryl Klaft who teaches dance at The Visual and Performing Arts Center, will receive "Making Tracks" t-shirts designed especially for the contest as well as free entrance to this year's North Carolina State Fair where their video entry will be featured in a display about school bus safety.  Their winning entry is currently posted on the school bus safety website and will be used as an educational tool for school bus safety throughout the state.  Visit www.ncbussafety.org/Makingtracks to view their video.  Congratulations!
