Statesville Parents to Present at National Conference

Parents from Statesville High School will be traveling to Washington, DC later this month to make a presentation at the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships (NCCEP).

 

This national convening of GEAR UP professionals, parents, students, policymakers, and community partners is coordinated by NCCEP and planned in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Education. The purpose of this conference is to highlight the importance of K-16 education/community partnerships and the accomplishments of the Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP). 

 

Parents from Statesville High School's Parent Leadership Institute will be conducting a session entitled "Parent Empowerment: Your Key to Success."
