My Mission Statement

The mission of the Cool Spring Elementary School Media Center is to encourage, promote, and assist students and teachers so that they can be effective users of ideas and information. The library is a place for students and teachers to study, complete research, and ask questions, so that we all can be lifelong learners.

 

Library Expectations

1. Always walk when moving around the library.

2. Use a quiet voice to talk to your friends.
3. Do your best.
Respect the library, Respect Others, and Respect yourself!

 

Grade Level Library Points System

This year each grade level has an opportunity to earn points when they come to the library for open checkout. If students are caught meeting the library expectations they will earn points for their grade level. If they are caught not meeting the expectations they will lose points. At the end of each 9 weeks we will look to see which grade level has earned the most points and celebrate!

 
About Me
 
This is my seventh year of teaching and fifth year at Cool Spring.  I have recently received my Masters of Library Science through Appalachian State University.  I live in Statesville with my husband and son.
