I have been a Media Specialist in Iredell Statesville Schools since 2000, and was a classroom teacher for 10 years prior.  My first year teaching was at Freedom High School in Morganton, NC.  After that I moved to Iredell County and taught 8th grade Social Studies at West Iredell Middle School for three years.  I moved to North Iredell Middle School as an 8th grade Social Studies teacher in 1994 and was there until 2010 when I went back to West Iredell Middle School, this time as their media specialist.
