Welcome to Read 180.

 

 

Our mission is to become strong readers who will read on grade level and begin to enjoy reading.  We will reach our goals by, using our reading strategies, reading even though we may not like to read, and working hard during class.

 

 

I come from California where I was born and lived until 2002.  I taught for 4 years in California and have been teaching within the county for the past 8 years.  I love working with the young adults in this beautiful state. 

 

I graduated summa cum laude from Gardner-Webb University.  This was a major accomplishment for me because, like my students, I was a struggling reader.  I am proof that struggling readers can become strong accomplished readers who love to read and will graduate from high school and college.  Struggling readers can realize their dreams!
