My ESL students will think positively and will always do their best to achieve their goals and be successful in school and life.
I am originally from Colombia, South America. I hold a bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages: English and French (1998) and a Master of Education in teaching a Foreign language: English (2004) in Manizales, Colombia. Spanish is my first language but I also speak English and French. I worked as an English teacher at the Modern Languages undergraduate program, and served as an advisor for seven years to students in their student teaching program at the Caldas University.
I worked as a Spanish teacher in Union County Public Schools for one year, and then as an ESL teacher for two years in Rowan Salisbury Schools. This is my fifth year at ISS working at TMS and some other schools. Currently, I also go to North Iredell Middle and Mt Mourne IB.
I enjoy outdoor activities, reading and traveling. I am here to help my ESL students achieve their goals by working at their best portential.
