My Classroom Mission
To prepare my students to be independent, productive, life-long learners and be able to use computer technology successfully throughout their lives.
About Me
I was born in Havana, Cuba. In addition to my birthplace, I have lived in Spain, Chicago, Miami, West Palm Beach, and, finally, Mooresville, North Carolina. I have an A.A. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Business Administration with a Minor in Management from Florida Atlantic University.
I have taught Cisco Networking I-IV and Computer Programming in Lake Norman High School for three years before coming here to Lakeshore Middle School.
Before becoming a teacher, I had worked in the Information Technology field for almost 25 years as a Programmer Analyst, Systems Analyst, Financial Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, and DBA.
I will bring all my work experience to the classroom to help my students be better prepared for the working environment. I love computers, mathematics, physics, philosophy, music, and the arts. I hope to share my enthusiasms with my students and make my computer classes interesting.
