Greetings!

My name is Lisa Pfeufer and I am the CCTL PTO president for the 2012-2013 school year.
I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the freshmen class for their acceptance into the CCTL program as well as welcome back returning students, staff and parents. The PTO serves to support involvement between students, parents and faculty. The PTO was established a few years ago by a couple of dedicated parents who wished to increase parental/guardian involvement in order to enhance the CCTL school experience. In the past years, the PTO has launched various fundraisers to cover the expenses of the Annual end of school year picnic, Graduation Party, teacher appreciation lunches and end of semester gifts. Funding for these events comes partially through student and staff contributions but mostly depends on YOU. Our school is relatively small so our resources are limited, but if everyone contributes a little... Then we will all benefit.

You will receive a few emails throughout the year from me or other PTO members requesting items and/or money for upcoming events at CCTL and occasionally we may also need volunteers too. Overall, the emails will be few and far between except toward the end of the semester and the end of the year when PTO is most active. Basically, you will not be asked to contribute unless it is really needed. Far too often, a few parents or the staff are left carrying out activities or providing supplies for the majority. Our PTO is hoping to establish a more evenly distributed way to meet the expectations of the students and parents for a productive and enjoyable school year.

We sell CCTL school themed magnets and CCTL LOGO sweatshirt/t-shirts. Various styles, sizes and colors are offered . These CCTL LOGO magnets are 4 1/2" x 4 1/2 and can be seen on various vehicles around campus. These items can be purchased by contacting the PTO. Cash or checks are accepted. At anytime you may contribute to the PTO - any amount of donation is appreciated and will be used solely to meet the needs of the CCTL program.

Lastly, I would like to invite you to attend PTO meetings in the metal building.  Emails will be sent reminding you of dates we will meet. We look forward to seeing your there.
