My Classroom Mission
Our mission is for all students is to learn enough to be proficient on the EOC and pass the course in order to fulfill the requirements and go to college. Together we will pay attention, respect each other, keep a good attitude, and encourage one another to succeed while maintaining a quiet atmosphere. We agree to listen in class, participate, study, complete assignments and productively help our peers.
About Me
Hello, my name is Wendy Sherrill. I have been teaching for 17 years. Eight of those years were at North Iredell High School. This will be my ninth year at a terrific school. I am a member of the mathematics department. I married Doug in April, 1996. We have been blessed with two adorable girls, Kaylee and Leanna and two very handsome twin boys Matthew and Joshua. I spend my time being a sports Mom if I am not working.
I am a graduate of West Iredell High School. I have a BS Degree in Mathematics with Secondary Education certification from UNC-Charlotte.
The information on this site will include what I believe is important for my students and their parents. I hope you find it to be a useful way to know what is going on in my classroom as well as in the school.
I am available to students for help any afternoon from 3:20pm until 4:20pm. You can contact me at school during my planning period (9:45am - 11:20am) at 704-873-2181 or 704-873-2182
My motto: "The Lord will never give you more than you can handle."
What I believe: "The power of prayer."
