Welcome! I am very excited about teaching this school year! I am hoping to have an extremely successful school year with ALL students!

My Classroom Mission Statements
 
1st period Earth Science:
 In earth science we have set a strategic goal of 84%.  We will give 110% all the time and be role model students that show respect, study, ask appropriate questions and attend SWAG sessions.
 
3rd period Earth Science Honors:
 In earth science honors we have set a strategic goal of 86%. We will use SWAG appropriately, manage our time wisely and do our best as we are rigorously challenged to learn more about how the earth works and affects not only us bu thte entire globe.
 
4th period Anatomy and Physiology:
 In A & P we have set a strategic goal of 85%. We will participate and try new strategies to help us have a better understanding of the human body and how it works.  We will use the resources provided to us, like SWAG, to help us learn how to adapt to college level learning.
 
About Me

I am a West Iredell High School '00 and Pfeiffer University '04graduate.  I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine-Exercise Science.  I have taught at WIHS for the past 8 years.  I am married and have two wonderful children.  I am currently the advisor for Homecoming festivities, Student Council and Prom.
