WIHS Student Services Mission:
To assist all students in reaching their academic and personal potential through school, career, college and personal counseling and through related support services.
About Me
I am one of three counselors on staff at West Iredell High School. I work primarily with 9th grade students, although I am more than happy to help students at any grade level. I am also in charge of coordinating services related to 504 plans at West, and am the testing coordinator at the school.
When not at school, I am involved with
Girl Scouts
Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont Council as a Brownie Girl Scout troop leader. I am a strong believer in scouting and the importance of its influence in the lives of young people. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, camping, hiking, letterboxing and spending quality time with my two children and host of pets.
I am a graduate of Appalachian State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and my Master of Arts degree in Professional School Counseling. I have been a school counselor for 15 years.
