Agriculture Education makes a positive difference in the lives of students by developing  their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.

I grew up in the northern end of Iredell County and graduated from North Iredell High School in 1974. I attended North Carolina State University and graduated with a B.S. degree in Agricultural Education in 1978.  I still live in Union Grove and work with my father running a beef cattle farm.  I enjoy hunting, fishing, and working outdoors.
