My Classroom Mission 
My mission is to help prepare my students to be successful in the real world after they finish their education.  By the time they finish my class, I want them to have a career goal in mind, understand how to prepare simple meals, understand money management, and know how to find and keep a job.
 
About Me

I grew up in Statesville and graduated from SHS in 1986.  I attended Meredith College from 1986-1990.  I earned a BS in Home Economics Education and a BS in Foods and Nutrition. I have taught at West Iredell High School since 1994.  Over the years I have taught Foods I, Teen Living, Parenting, Personal Finance, Interior Design and Career Management.  I love my job and enjoy working with teenagers.  In my spare time I enjoy raising and training quarter horses for barrel racing.
