I am the Distance Learning Advisor for our school.  Students under my supervision use the virtual world to complete subjects needed for graduation purposes.  These courses may be offered within our face to face environment, but may not have been compatible with your child's school schedule.  The virtual learning community also provides students with the opportunity to explore subjects that are not available in a regular classroom setting, as well as courses that are offered at the college level.
