Welcome to the office of Assistant Principal.

 

 

 

My name is Kelley James.  I am the Assistant Principal of North Iredell High School.   I am very excited to be at NIHS.  I feel like I have come home!  The 2011-2012 school year will begin my 21st year in education.  I graduated from North Iredell High School in 1987.  I was a North Carolina Teaching Fellow at Appalachian State University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education in 1991.  I graduated in 2001 with a Master of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Gardner-Webb. Spring 2009 saw the completion of my coursework for Add-on licensure in School Administration.   Education has been my lifelong passion.  I have taught in Yadkin County, Buncombe County, and Iredell-Statesville Schools (which is home to me!) 

 

My husband, an Iredell County native, and I have been married for 17 years.  We have a daughter in the 10th grade in I-SS.  I enjoy listening to great music and supporting local talent, working on the computer, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family.  My favorite book, movie, collectibles, are from Gone With The Wind .  I am also addicted to Sudoku puzzles and Cryptograms.
