My Classroom Mission
 
My mission is to expand the knowledge of students in Mathematics, so that all students will pass their MLO and have a solid foundation for their future studies or career in life.
 
 

 
About Me
 
Graduate of North Iredell High School in 1978.
Graduate of Applachian State University with a B.S. degree in Mathematics Secondary Education in 1984 and a Master's of Art degree in Mathematics Secondary Education in 1992.
 
I have been a high school and middle school coach for 28 years. I have 26 full time years in teaching in the Iredell Statesville School System. (Started at Oakwood in fall of 1984 and been in this county ever since.) I've coached football, baseball, tennis, track, basketball and wrestling in Iredell and Watauga counties. I have very much enjoyed my 26 years of teaching and 28 years of coaching. I worked at Watauga High School, Oakwood Junior High, West Iredell Middle School, D. Matt Thompson Middle School, West Iredell High School and North Iredell High School. I also taught physical education and mathematics during this time.
