My mission is to introduce students to business standards and provide them with the skills and knowledge they need in order to become a productive member of the professional workplace.

 

 

 

I was born and raised in North Carolina.  I attended Mitchell High School in Bakersville, NC where I was very active in Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, Vocational Honor Society and Student Council.  I was also a Varsity Letter in Soccer and Track & Field.
I am a 2005 North Carolina Teaching Fellows graduate from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Education and a minor in history, focus on American War History and Latin American History.  I began working for the Iredell-Statesville School system in January 2006.  Since that time I have worked at Statesville High School and also Monticello school.

 

Most of my students know I am a huge YANKEES fan but I also enjoy NASCAR, UFC and most other sports.  I am also known for S3-Students Supporting Soldiers, supporting our men and Women of the Armed Forces both home and overseas.
