My Classroom Mission

The Mission of my English as a Second Language(ESL) class is to help Limited English proficient(LEP) students read,write,speak English,and understand the spoken English so that they can be successful students and productive members of society.
We will do this by doing our best in class and home,helping each other learn,respecting each other's opinions,and following the classroom norms so that the ESL class is a comfortable place for all students to learn.  
 
About Me
Hi,my name is Evgenia Pankova.

    I graduated from the Linguistic University in Nizhni Novgorod,Russia with a Master of Arts degree in English and German.
    For the first time I came to US as a winner of international educational context "Partners In Education" in January-March 1998.In July 1998,I got an invitation to come here to work for Iredell-Statesville Schools.This school year is my 15th for I-SS and the 40th year of teaching experience in general.It is hard to believe!
   This fact speaks for itself-I love teaching and I love my students.
   I am blessed to have an opportunity to work here.It ia a rewarding and unforgettable experience.
