My Classroom Mission

    We are a class of Second Grade learners preparing for third grade.  We will respect our school property.  We will be kind,honest and make good behavior choices.  We will respect and listen to our teachers and fellow students. We will be kind to our class pet.  We will try our best 100% of the time.
                      We will follow the "Golden Rule" each and every day.
 
About Me
  Hi! Welcome to my second grade web page. This is my 7th year teaching 2nd grade at  Woodland Heights Elementary School. Prior to Woodland Heights, I taught 2nd grade  for 9 years at Lake Norman Elementary School.
 Our family has lived in Mooresville for  almost 16 years. My husband and I have 3 grown children. Our oldest daughter, Allison, graduated for Elon University and  teaches 3rd grade in Cornelius.  She and her husband live in Huntersville, NC.  They had a beautiful daughter, Catherine who is one and a half. I am having a wonderful time spoiling her!
  We have twins that are 26. They both live on their own. Lindsey graduated from UNC, Charlotte Nursing School and is employed at Seattle Children's Hospital, in Seattle Washington.   Eric graduated from USC, Columbia with a degree in mechanical engineering and is employed by Duke Power. 
  We  have  a toy poodle named Benson.
  I look forward to another exciting year in second grade at WHE.
