Our class mission is to get smarter in reading, math and the world. We will do this by reading every night, doing our homework and trying our best.
 
 About Me
I have been a teacher at Shepherd Elementary for the past 13 years.
During this time I have taught both first and second grade. I received my undergraduate degree at Agnes Scott, a small liberal arts college for women located in Decatur, Georgia. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Gardner Webb University. My hobbies are gardening, quilting, reading and canning. I was born in North Carolina and am the mother of three grown children. I am delighted to be your child's teacher, and I am looking forward to a rewarding and exciting new year!
