About Me
My name is Karen Lail.  This is my 23rd year teaching and my 21th year at Shepherd Elementary.  I graduated from Gardner Webb College with a degree in Elementary Education and then I completed my master's program from U.N.C.C.  I am married and have 2 great sons.  My oldest son is a 3rd grade teacher at Isenberg Elementary in Salisbury.   He is married to a wonderful girl who is also a teacher.  She teaches English at West Rowan High School.
I have taught from Kindergarten through 5th grade while I have been at Shepherd. I love this community.  It's a great place to work!
