Classroom Mission Statement
Science--6th Grade
Developed, modified and agreed upon by all classes.
 
     We the awesome students of Ms. Simpson's 6th grade science classes will work hard, improve our skills by listening and following directions, doing assignments and helping each other.  We will come to class each day with a positive attitude, be creative and have a fun time while learning!

About Ms. Simpson

 
Currently I reside in the Town of Mooresville and have one daughter who attends Mooresville Middle School.  Thus, it gives me insight to understand and experience the balance of school and after-school activities.
 
I am very excited to be at Brawley Middle School teaching sixth grade science.  The staff, parents and students have been very welcoming.  
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Florida, "Go Gators!!"  I am certified in Elementary Education, kindergarten through sixth, and Middle School Social Studies, Language Arts and Math.   I also have earned my Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from Gardner-Webb University.  

Previously I have taught kindergarten; sixth grade science and social studies; seventh grade language arts and social studies; and eight grade language arts.
 
As a family we enjoy traveling, hiking, white water rafting, biking and other outdoor activities.   We took our fourth cruise this summer to the "last frontier" aka Alaska and are looking forward to our next.
