My name is Janna Payne Sells. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, in May 2008, with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Mathematics. I finished my master's degree in Elementary Education at Appalachian State, in May of 2011. I love being in the classroom! My goal is to help children learn to enjoy and value education at a young age!
This is my fifth year teaching. I taught my first 4 years in 3rd and 4th grade, and I am incredibly excited to be teaching 2nd grade!
I grew up in the small town of Harmony NC on a Dairy Farm. Throughout school, I was always a student athlete. I value the importance of education and teamwork. I am married to Jonathon Sells and we have two K9 children, Tucker and Moose. We adore our dogs. I enjoy spending time hanging out with my family! They help contribute to all my success! I also love to be outdoors! I have developed a deep passion for animals both domesticated and in the wild! I love to travel. My goal is to one day visit every continent. I am a happy member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. Come visit!
