Why is the NC WISE number so important?
The NC WISE number ties the data to the student. If the NC WISE number is incorrect, the student data will also be incorrect.
I did not receive a teacher header for my answer sheets for the current Quarter Predictive Assessments. How will I get my student scores?
All reports come from the Data Warehouse. The data are separated by the Warehouse based on NC WISE number and schedules. The Class Header does not and has NEVER had any affect on the data coming from the Warehouse. Class Headers were only necessary when we printed paper reports which we no longer do.
How long does the Testing Department keep student answer sheets in case I have a question?
Student answer sheets are kept for 10 working days following administration of Predictive Assesments. Inquiries must be made prior to the 10th day. We will take into account the staggered schedule so you will have 10 days beginning the day after the end of the staggered schedule.
Do we return blank answer sheets to the Testing Department?
Yes, you may return blank answer sheets to the Testing Department so that they may be reused.
How much time do I have to print a report following Predictive Assessments?
We do not update the data warehouse immediately following Predictive Assessments. Everyone has a period of 10 working days to export, print, or save the Predictive Assessment reports. We will take into account the staggered schedule so you will have 10 days beginning the day after the end of the staggered schedule.
How often is the data warehouse updated?
Student demographic data are updated weekly on Friday. Student academic grades are updated at the end of each quarter or reporting term.
