My Classroom Mission:
 
My mission is to give all of my students memorable experiences that will create a love for learning. We will learn to research several topics using 21st century skills.  In my class, we use the Common Core to focus on reading, math, science, & writing skills. We will turn our "I Can" statements into "I Will " statements by placing a priority on the students' individual needs to make their time in our room productive and a positive experience.

About Me:
I have been married for 14 years to my best friend, Rusty. He has 3 grown children, who are still in NY.
I went to college at SUNY Cortland, NY where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education.
Then I attended a job fair and was given a chance to come to Statesville.
I became a teacher because I wanted to help children & change the world. There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child learn something for the first time or to expand their experiences. Then, take what they've learned and apply it to their lives.
I look forward to working with parents to insure the success of every child.
In addition, I have graduated from Gardner-Webb with my Master's Degree in School Administration.
