Out of District applications for 2013-2014 will be available as of February 28, 2013. The deadline to submit your request is April 12, 2013, absolutely no applications will be accepted after April 12th. This includes staff members also unless you are a new hire after April 12, 2013. Schools need time to plan and prepare for the arrival of new students; therefore, absolutely no applications will be processed after the deadline.
Applications will be available at the Iredell-Statesville Schools Administrative office located on Race Street as well as all of our traditional schools. Remember before submitting your application, please make sure it is filled out completely and is legible, also make sure that you attach a letter detailing the reason for your request and submit it to the address listed on the application. Any incomplete applications will be returned to the sender.
Due to the number of request that are received during this time, please do not call regarding the status of your application. We will respond to all applicants by the school's open house date.
To register your child for school, first contact the principal at the appropriate school. To determine which school your child will attend, please call 704-924-2027.
You complete the registration process, you will need:
- Child's birth certificate
- Immunization records
- Social Securtiy Number (optional)
- Proof of residence (something showing service into the home; must include the parent's name; examples include a home phone bill, electric bill, cable bill; a driver's license will not be accepted as proof of residence)
