Welcome to Coddle Creek's Physical Education Department.
My Classroom Mission Our goal is for our students to get fit, have fun, and develop an interest in lifelong fitness. We will accomplish this through performing specific body targeting exercises, performing the Fitnessgram Assessment, learning how to correlate sports and recreation to a fun, healthy lifestyle, and by developing an awareness of our own current health and how to improve that over a lifetime.
About Me
This is my seventh year teaching Physical Education. I spent my high school years at nearby North Mecklenberg High School where I was a wrestler and football player. I lettered all four years in wrestling and served as captain of the team. My college years were spent at Appalachian State University, proud home of the defending three time national championship football team. I worked with Campus Christian Fellowship and helped lead outreach and small groups while there. I graduated from Appalachian State in 2006 with a degree in Physical Education. I was at Mt. Mourne for three years before we moved our school down the street to Coddle Creek Elementary. In my spare time I like to lift weights, play golf, basketball, football, whatever I can do to stay in shape and have fun. Go Mountaineers!
