My Mission

I will advocate for all students by providing a learning environment which empowers students, staff and the community to maximize their personal, creative and academic potential in order to become lifelong learners and responsible world citizens.

About Me

I earned my Bachelor's of Science degree in Special Education at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.  I then became a 7th grade inclusion teacher for ten years at Marlton Middle School in Marlton, New Jersey in the Evesham Township School District.  During my teaching career I earned a Master's of Science degree in Educational Leadership and Special Education Supervision at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  This is my 5th year as an Assistant Principal in the Iredell-Statesville School District.

I have happily called Mooresville home for the last four years and very much love the community.  I enjoy hiking the local mountains with my dogs Jack and Molly.  As much as I am adapting to the South lifestyle, I am still and will always be a Philly girl at heart!  GO PHILLIES, EAGLES AND FLYERS!!
