My name is Melissa Mock, and I am so excited to be part of the Lake Norman Elementary School family! I was born and raised in Boone, North Carolina, and I graduated from Appalachian State University, in Boone, with a degree in Elementary Education. I have taught first, second and fourth grades as well music for preschoolers. I love working with my students in SAIL to help them continue to grow and learn to their fullest potential!

 

When I'm not teaching, I can be found enjoying time with my wonderful family. My husband, Jon, and I have 3 wonderful children-Lily, a 7th grader at Lakeshore Middle School, Jay, a 5th grader at Lake Norman Elementary, and Bonnie, and first grader at Lake Norman Elementary.  We love to go back home to the mountains and watch Appalachian football games, have family movie nights and walk our little Maltipoo, Clyde.
