I began my career with Iredell County Schools as a 7th grade math, science and social studies teacher at East Iredell Elementary. I took several years off to raise my family. I returned as a math tutor then back into the classroom teaching 4th grade. Next I was the computer teacher at East Elementary for 3 years. This is my seventh year as an Instructional Technology Coordinator.

I was born and raised in High Point. Both my husband ('74) and son ('04) graduated from Statesville High. All three of us graduated from UNC. Go Heels!
