Class Missions
Our mission is to pass English 1/EOC by working as a team, paying attention, studying and having positive attitudes.
Our mission is to study/learn grammar, writing skills, and literary terms to pass the EOC. We will be respectful, responsible and work as a team to accomplish our goals.

1.02 I can… Give personal responses to literature, regarding personal and cultural influences, independently and as a group.
1.03 I can… Explain and analyze personal responses of literary elements based on the evidence of a print or non-print text.
2.01 I can… Select an appropriate reading strategy, identify the topic, audience and purpose of a text. -Make guesses, predictions and draw conclusion based on research
2.02 I can… Explain a topic by understanding who my audience is, so I write better with a purpose
3.01 I can… Examine an argument by looking at the author’s tone and style and identify any biases.
3.02 I can… Give my own opinion that is logical and interests my reader.
