Honor Societies are organizations whose purpose is to recognize high school students who show achievement in scholarship, leadership, service and character.
Societies are active in community and school service projects. Many societies require participation in service projects as a requirement for membership.
Societies elect officers, who under the supervision of the chapter advisor, coordinate and manage the chapter's activites throughout the year.
Universities look favorably upon candidates who were active members of Honor Societies during their high school careers. |
