Our mission is to come to school each day prepared and ready to learn.  We will always try our best and put great effort into our work to help us reach our maximum potential.  We will complete our classwork, homework and participate in learning centers to help us grow academically.  We will have fun and be super listeners while we are learning.  We will respect each other and follow all classroom rules.

 

My family and I moved here from Davie, FL  where both of my children were born.  I was born and raised in Miami, FL. where the weather is usually hot and hotter!  We've lived here going on six years. 

 

I have been married for 12 years and I have two wonderful children.  My son Timmy will be entering  5th grade, and my daughter Katie will be entering 2nd grade here at WHE this school year.   We are excited about the up coming school year for the Kennett family household!

 

I've been an educator going on twelve years.  Previously I taught second grade in Broward County, Florida the sixth largest school district in the United States.  This will be my sixth year teaching third grade in North Carolina.   I graduated from Nova  University and I've completed graduate classes at Florida Atlantic University. 

 

I am looking forward to the 2012-2013  school year!  We will be learning many new skills throughout the year that will help my students be prepared for the End of Grade Test.  I look forward to meeting all of my new students and building partnerships with all of my parents!
