Youth Leadership Iredell completed its sixth year with 46 graduates.  The April meeting began with a scavenger hunt in downtown Statesville (thank you Dr. Hill!).  The students travelled to 5th Street Ministries to spend the day with guests at the Shelter and learned of the various services provided there. Onward and upward, YLI Class of 2012-13!!
  
 
The Youth Leadership Iredell program is coordinated by the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce and Iredell-Statesville Schools.  Through this program, students from diverse backgrounds, who have a commitment to quality leadership, will experience opportunities for personal growth and increased awareness of the community and county.  This program is held in partnership with North Iredell High School, Statesville High School, West Iredell High School and the Early College Program at Mitchell Community College.  This program would not be possible without the financial sponsorship of Elmer's Products.  We would also like to thank the individuals and member businesses of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce, the City of Statesville, Mitchell Community College and Iredell County employees.   For further information contact Susie Wiberg at (704)832-2547 or email at swiberg@iss.k12.nc.us.
