Welcome to my Classroom

Tiffany C. Britt

I wanted to make a way for the students to communicate issue bins with me.  This can be something that they thought that was awesome, something we need to change, or just a concern/comment: http://www.wallwisher.com/wall/MsTiffBritt. Feel free to share your thoughts with me!

My Classroom Mission

New Mission Statement for each school will be posted after the students have created it.

Our classroom strategic goals:

IEP strategic goal: All students in Ms. Britt's class will meet or go above each of our individual educational goals as measured by many different tests (PAs, EOGs, CFAs)

Strategic
goal: all of us, in Ms. Britt's class, will meet or exceed (go above) our class math, reading, and writing goals as measured by the end-of-grade (EOG) tests.

About Me
My name is Tiffany C. Britt. I am originally from Pennsylvania. I moved to North Carolina in August 2007. I love it down here; I don't think I'll be moving back North anytime soon! I have my bachelor's degree in Exceptional Children Education and my Master's degree in Elementary Education. I received both degrees at California University of Pennsylvania.  I have worked in a variety of settings (separate, resource, regular, inclusion), a variety of grade levels (elementary, middle, and high school), a variety of places (city, urban, and rural), and a with variety of students. I love to relax by reading a good book or writing stories or poems. I LOVE my family and I have a younger sister (she is 16 1/2 years younger than I am) and a younger brother (he is almost 19 years younger than I am). I love being a teacher for students with disabilities (SWD) and working hard to serve the needs of your child.    I am quite proud to continue being a member of the N.B. Mills family and joining the East Iredell Elementary family!
