Auto Tech Team wins State Competition 2009Congratulations to Steven Lambert and Drew Stankwytch for taking 1st place at the State Finals of the Ford AAA Student Auto Skills Contest on May 1, 2009. Each student won $57,500.00 in scholarship offers, $200.00 worth of Snap-On tools, and an all expense paid trip to Dearborn, Michigan in June. Steven and Drew will proudly represent South Iredell and the Great State of North Carolina at the Ford AAA National Finals.

Final project in Apparel 1 2008
Laura K., German exchange student at South Iredell shows off her final project in Apparel 1. The dress is a fitted semi-formal with a black lace overlay. The cost of the dress was approximately $25.00.

Foods 2 Cakes Fall 2008
Members of Mrs. Steedman’s Foods 2 class prepared these great looking cakes for the regional Vocats directors meeting in December.  The cakes were so delicious that Mrs. Steedman had to email the recipes out to the group. Students should ask Mrs. Steedman about the other things you learn to prepare in her Foods classes.
