Welcome to the North Iredell High School Media Center

7:30am-3:05pm 
Hall passes are required from 8:05am-3:05pm
 
The North Iredell High School Library has over 10,000 volumes in present circulation, including a wide variety of research and reference material as well as current and historical information. Thirty-one computers are provided for use in researching, writing, and compiling information. The card catalog, WiseOwl, and the Internet can be accessed from this base.
 

Mission Statement: 

The mission of the North Iredell High School Media Center is to provide the best possible resources and services to insure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.

NCWiseOwl is a web site sponsored by the Instructional Technology Division of the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.  It contains links to several subscription databases of periodical articles along with the Gale Virtual Reference Library, a searchable collection of reference materials.  Also housed in NCWiseOwl is a link to SAS Writing Reviser, a program that allows students a hands-on revision tool for their writing.
