We provide regular updates to you aboutyour student’s academic progress by sending home Report Cards. Once a year weprovide you with updates on our school’s achievements through the North CarolinaSchool Report Card.  This report cardincludes important information about school and student performance, classsizes, attendance, school safety, instructional resources, and teacher quality.There also is information about how our school measured against federal AnnualMeasurable Objectives (AMO) targets and the number of suspensions andexpulsions in our school.

Our school’s full report cardcan be found on the NC School Report Cards’ website at http://www.ncreportcards.org.School Report Cards are provided for regular public schools, charter schools,and alternative schools that were open during the 2011-2012 school year.  Our report card highlights huge successes atLake Norman High School including the designation of Honor School of Excellence with High Growth.  The numbers only tell part of the story. Atour school we are proud of our BlueRibbon Lighthouse Award, our athletic programs, community service clubs,and our graduation rate (the highest in the state!).

In addition,the federal No Child Left Behind Act requires schools to issue report cards.  At Lake Norman High School your involvementis very important to the success of our school.
