The fifth grade teachers at Troutman Elementary have discovered and created many exciting endeavors to let fifth graders learn and grow. All academic areas are taught according to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study. Through cooperative learning, tutoring, small and large group activities, field trips, speakers, hands - on activities, writing exercises, computer technology, and practice, practice, practice,our goal is to have students become successful in school exhibiting character traits for good citizenship.
