Fourth grade is involved in the study of North Carolina. To enhance our curriculum, visits to our state's capitol, Raleigh, and Old Salem are being considered. Another extension of our curriculum is an extensive study of Fire Safety with a field trip to the EMS center. Fourth grade focuses heavily on writing skills in preparation for the North Carolina Writing Test.
