Purpose Statement
| The Northview IB PTO is organized for the purpose of being a charitable organization for the support of the educational, curricular and extracurricular needs of students and staff of Northview IB, a World School. This is accomplished in a variety of ways, through fund-raising efforts, sponsored events (including Teacher Appreciation Luncheons and the annual Snow Ball Dance), beautification projects, and through direct volunteer and support activities

Executive Officers: Co-Presidents, Secretary, Treasurers
Position Description; Co- Presidents: The Co-Presidents preside over meetings of the organization and the administrative committee, develop, in consultation with the membership, the monthly meeting agenda, serve as the primary contact for the principal, represent the organization at meetings outside the organization, serve as an official member of all committees except the nominating committee, and coordinate the work of all the officers and committees so that the purpose of the organization is served.

Position Description; Secretary: The Secretary shall keep accurate minutes of the PTO meetings.
Position Description; Bookkeeping Treasurer: The Book-Keeping treasurer shall keep an accurate record of receipts and expenditures. The Book-Keeping Treasurer may pay out funds in accordance with the approval of the president or membership. He or she will present a financial statement at every meeting and at other times of the year, and make a full report at the end of the year.
Position Description; Deposits Treasurer: The Deposits Treasurer shall receive all funds of the organization. The Deposits Treasurer may pay out funds in accordance with the approval of the president or membership.
