Mission

It is the mission of the Iredell-Statesville Schools Visual & Performing Arts Center to provide artistically talented high school students the opportunity to enhance their skills in a supportive, productive, professional environment of artistic excellence that will encourage their post-secondary pursuit of a career in the areas of music, drama, visual arts, and dance.

Vision

All Visual & Performing Arts Center students will earn an endorsement in fine arts on their high school diploma. Students in the early college will have the opportunity to earn an associate’s degree in the five-year program. Arts magnet student will have the opportunity to
earn college credits either through dual enrollment or advanced placement.
